Calculated Members
A calculated member is a dimension member whose value is calculated at run time using an expression that you specify. Many templates are available from which new calculations can be created, including common business calculations (totals, %difference, ratios, etc.), period comparisons (ytd cumulative, change from last year/period, change from last year period in %, etc.), distinct count with basket analysis and statistical calculations (averages, standard deviation, variation, maximum, etc.).

Exception Highlighting
You can use exception highlighting to focus attention on certain values. By applying exception highlighting rules you can quickly see which values qualify as being exceptional, such as the best performing stores or the worst performing products. You can create your own visual highlighting styles which you can apply in different exception definitions.

Drilling Through
You can use the Drillthrough feature to view the relational source data that contributes to the value of a cell within the grid. This is useful in situations where you wish to have insight into the source records that accumulate to the cell value, for example, when verifying the correctness of a cell value.
